 Are you looking for a great place to relax, get away from the crowds, and enjoy the beach? Consider Kitty Hawk! The beach is a great place to go year-round. The spring and fall offer gorgeous sunsets, wide beaches, nice weather, and few people. The winter brings empty beaches and gorgeous skies. The summer speaks for itself. Sea Dunes townhouse complex is directly across the street (a small two lane road) from a nice, wide beach. The complex offers many amenities: tennis court, basketball goal, a recreation center with workout room, racquetball court, pool and air hockey tables, and a large pool and hot tub. Below our unit is also a large field for many family activities (croquet, football, frisbee, etc.). It's the perfect location for your family vacation.

We are sure you will love our townhouse at Kitty Hawk. It is a gorgeous three-bedroom townhouse with two and one-half baths, and a garage. The garage has room for one car (it is a 2 car garage, but we provide bikes and other “toys” that take up some of the garage), a shower for washing off the beach sand, a washer and dryer, and an area for fish cleaning. The bedrooms have a king bed, queen bed, and two twins. The bathrooms include a Jacuzzi tub (in the Master Bedroom) and a Sauna in the hall bath. The living room is quite spacious and includes a view of the ocean, a comfortable living room, kitchen and wet bar. The unit includes two porches (one off of the Master Bedroom and one off of the living room).

Although the beach is across the street, it is a small road. We are next to the public beach which has a lifeguard and is a nice, wide and open beach. Complex amenities include a pool, hot tub (pool in season only, hot tub available off season for a small charge), a tennis court, basketball goals, workout room, air hockey, a pool table, and a racquetball court (all-seasons).  Click here to go to the Sea Dunes website.  You can see pictures of the amenities in the complex.

The unit is a NON-SMOKING unit. NO PETS are allowed.

  • Weekend rate is 2 nights, except for Labor Day weekend.
  • Weekly rate in the high season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) is Saturday to Saturday.
  • Weekly rate in the off-season (Labor Day to Memorial Day) is Friday to Friday
  • Weekend rentals may be available within 2 weeks of rental if available

The only additional charge is 12.75% for tax.

Half of your rent will be due with your rental agreement, in order to reserve the unit.

The other half, plus $150 deposit needs to be sent 45 days prior to check-in.

Return guests only pay a $50 deposit.

Logistical details:

  • Please note that this is a NON-SMOKING & NO PETS unit;
  • It is our policy not to rent to groups of young people under 25 years of age;
  • E-mail us at LynnBrau@gmail.com  with desired date or call us (757/868-4019). We have two condos, please let us know if you are requesting dates in Alabama (Sugar Beach) or NC (Sea Dunes);
  • Upon receipt of email and confirmation of dates being available, a letter will be sent stating the entire payment due, and the dates payments are due. The following is the general payment process:
    • Half of the rental payment, or your deposit, whichever is greater, is to be sent with the rental agreement (which you can print out, or I will e-mail or fax you) within 10 days of acceptance;
    • The other half of the payment plus the $150 security/damage deposit ($50 for returning guests) is due one month prior to arrival
    • Keys will be sent to you when final payment is received.
    • Security deposit will be returned within 14 days of the return of the keys

 

Cancellation policy:

  • Cancellations can be made up to 30 days prior to your reserved dates.
  • If cancellations need to be made less than 30 days prior to your reserved dates, we will make every effort possible to re-rent the unit. If it is re-rented, your payment will be returned. If the unit remains un-rented, no monies that have been paid will be returned.
  • In case of voluntary or mandatory evacuation (in case of hurricane), any reserved dates that you are unable (due to evacuation) to use, will be credited to you. You can either transfer these to another date, or you may be refunded the money.
