CLUBHOUSE
The Sea Dunes
community has been "wired" for high speed wireless internet
access. Service is provided by Skyenet Wi=
reless
Communications.
Accessing OBXwan in the Sea Dunes Clubhouse merely requires use=
rs who
have wi-fi enabled laptops to connect to the ra=
dio
there which we have named "clubhouse". This is done by the =
user
selecting "Search for Available Wireless Networks" using their
computers wireless utility. A list of available access points would t=
hen
be displayed at which point they would select "clubhouse" from the
list and then click "connect". At this point, they will be
connected to our network and be free to use it anywhere inside the clubhous=
e,
patio or poolside.
Access or servic=
e in
the clubhouse is free for owners, guests and renters. It does not req=
uire
a subscription. The clubhouse installation was completed 3/19/2=
006.
Owners and guests
wishing to use the service there just need to associate to
"Clubhouse", and they will be off and running. No login names or
subscription is required.
FYI - You should be able =
to
access the wireless connection from our unit. The code is on the refrigerator.
