Two phones and one answering machine are available for our guests' use during their stay at Sugar Beach. Please be sure to clear any messages that are on the machine when you check out.

There is a long-distance block on the phone, but you are able to make an 800 call so that you may use a calling card.

We are pleased to let you know that we have recently signed on with Harbor Communications, which has a much larger local calling area than GulfTel. Our guests can now call Mobile and other parts of Baldwin County for free. That also means that you can use CompuServe, AOL, and other long distance providers if you bring a laptop. (With Gulftel, we were unable to use these services, as the local calling area did not include all of the 251 area code). I have requested a local calling area map from Harbor Communications, and will past that on the internet and in our welcome book when it is available. We do request, however, that if you bring your laptop, please be sure to leave our phone cord!! :o).
